Peter G. Goll, Chief Executive Officer
As Chief Executive Officer, Peter is responsible for setting and following standards for excellence in operations and oversight of strategic planning, growth, development, and physician relations. He has worked in the healthcare industry for more than 30 years. His diverse healthcare background includes health plan operations, contract negotiation, physician group operations, business plan development, risk contracting methodologies, legal/operational development of physician organizations, care management, staff development/management, needs assessment, work planning & prioritization, risk adjustment and strategic planning. Peter has worked in executive management for such companies as Care1st Health Plan, Humana, Molina, Arcadian and Tenet Healthcare. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Health Care Administration, with post graduate work at the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business, University of San Francisco and Stanford University.

Ray Wengender, Chief Operating Officer / Chief Information Officer
As COO / CIO, Ray is responsible for Enterprise Innovation, Business and Information Technology Operations, and Business Intelligence. Ray has 7 years of combined Provider, Payer, and HIT experience in California, including over three years running the Digital Product Management team at Blue Shield of California. Ray has 24 years of progressive Technology, Product Management, Operations, and Marketing experience in the Healthcare, Online Education, and Financial Services industries, where he has held strategic roles at companies including JP Morgan Chase, Salomon Smith Barney, and The Washington Post Company. Ray’s expertise includes software and process design, strategic planning, and automation. Ray holds a BS in Business Administration from SUNY at Buffalo and an MBA from the Zicklin School of Management in New York City. Ray’s post-graduate education includes professional certifications in Six Sigma and Product Management. Ray lives in Danville with his wife Natalie and their newly adopted son.

Peggy Periandri, Chief Compliance Officer
As Chief Compliance Officer, Peggy is responsible for the development, implementation and on-going management of the ethics and compliance program in order to fulfill the medical group’s needs and to meet regulatory requirements. In addition, she leads the internal processes to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies, including chairing the Compliance Committee which oversees risk management and internal reporting. She is also responsible for formulating and implementing compliance programs, including Code of Conduct, Fraud, Waste, and Abuse, Cultural Competency, HIPAA, Health and Safety, and Business Continuity and making sure they are communicated and trained across the company. Previously, Peggy served in multiple positions during her 20 year tenure at Santa Clara Family Health Plan, most recently as the Compliance Director.

Jennie Sanchez, Vice President of Revenue Cycle and Clinic Operations
As Vice President of Revenue Cycle and Clinic Operations, Jennie brings more than 30 years of experience in leadership roles providing Commercial, Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, Part D and Dual-Eligible compliance, regulatory, and risk management. As the Revenue Cycle team leader, Jennie develops materials for CMS and Health plans, conducts audits and risk assessments, and develops operational metrics for reporting and compliance oversight. As the Clinic Operations leader, which includes three primary and urgent care clinics, Jennie has daily oversight of operations, staffing, compliance, patient care, and budgeting. Jennie has over 35 years of healthcare experience in revenue cycle, managed care claims, coding and auditing, most recently as Director of Revenue Cycle at Verity Health System. Along with being a Certified Professional Coder and Certified Revenue Cycle Representative, Jennie was honored with the Dale Carnegie Leadership Award. Jennie is proud to volunteer in the Los Gatos Plein Air Fine Arts program and Stanislaus University Honors Society program, which recognizes undergrad student achievement.

Dawn Bussey, Vice President of Marketing and Communications
As Vice President of Marketing and Communications Dawn is responsible for marketing, internal and external communications, and employee engagement. She brings 30 years of marketing and communications experience in health care, sports partnerships, high tech sales, and non-profit leadership. Her prior roles include Executive Director of Communications and Community Relations for Verity Health System, Public Affairs Director for Kaiser Permanente, Communications Director for FIRST 5 Santa Clara County, and Inside Sales Manager for Altera (Intel). Dawn is from Alabama where she received her Bachelor’s Degree from Auburn University and she lives in Sunnyvale with her husband and four children. She is a recipient of Silicon Valley Business Journal’s “Woman of Influence Award” and Past President of the Junior League of San Jose. Dawn enjoys volunteering in the community, specifically to mentor women leaders, chair large-scale fundraisers, and lead programs at her children’s schools.
